Leading Out of Drama Core Concepts Workshop Series

The LOD Core Workshop series is a series of four 90 minute interactive workshops supporting participants to change the paradigm through which they engage with conflict, compassion, and one another.

The Leading Out of Drama workshop is for leaders and clinicians seeking to understand the mechanics of conflict, and establish a skill base from which to engage with conflict in ways that achieve accountability without compromising dignity, or growth. The Core Workshop series is designed with time between workshops for participants to observe their experiences, explore, and engage with new skills to achieve new outcomes. If you are looking to go beyond understanding to transform your behaviour and effectiveness, this workshop is for you.

The Core Workshop Series attracts 6 CPD points for RACS and ANZCA members, and is open to anybody, irrespective of training or industry.

Participants will:

• complete the Drama Resiliency Assessment prior to the workshop, to understand the current pattern of their own conflict risk factors and compassion strengths,
• actively engage in a workshop providing a new paradigm and skillset for self management, communication, and conflict.
• learn from peers and others,
• explore their conflict risk factors,
• build skills to compassionately manage self and others,
• experience coaching to implement new learning, and explore a deeper curriculum that the Conflict and You workshop,
• to establish the foundations of compassionate healthcare leadership and practice.

All participants are required to complete a short questionnaire prior to the workshop and attend from a quiet location with camera and audio enabled, in order to participate in the workshop. This workshop is limited to 8 participants to create an interactive, collaborative environment.

Please note, the Conflict and You workshop is a helpful introduction to the Core Series, but is not a pre-requisite requirement.
